Окислительный стресс при кератоконусе проявляется в слезной жидкости и стромальных клетках и купируется в клеточной культуре сульфорафаном

Oxidative Stress in Keratoconus Is Evident in Tear Fluid and Stromal Cells and Alleviated in Cell Culture by Sulforaphane.

Keratoconus (KC) is a common eye disease characterized by progressive corneal thinning and weakening resulting in irregular astigmatism, scarring, and vision loss.1–4 At the corneal tissue level KC is associated with abnormal epithelial thickening, loss of stromal keratocytes and reduced extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition.5–10 Although many cases can be managed by corneal collagen crosslinking and optical correction, with glasses or contact lenses, severe cases require corneal transplantation.11–13
