Christopher J. Calvano, MD, PhD, is an ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery at the San Antonio Military Medical Center / Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (Joint Base San Antonio, 59th Medical Wing), Texas, where he served as head of the Wilford Hall Eye Center, which unites ophthalmology, optometry and the Joint Warfighter Refractive Surgery Center.
